How Our Network Works

Who you talk to
You do not talk to a roofer who works for Editorentirely Roofing, because there is no such person. Editorentirely Roofing is a referral service. The person you speak with is an independent roofing provider from our network, a local business that runs its own crews, sets its own prices, and answers for its own work.
That matters. The quote, the contract, and the roof itself are between you and the provider.
What happens on the first conversation
Expect a few plain questions. The provider will want to know:
- What you see, such as stains, missing shingles, sagging, or dents
- How old the roof is, if you know
- Whether water is getting in right now
- What type of home you have
Have photos ready, taken from the ground. Do not climb up to get a better angle. Then the provider usually offers to inspect the roof and put a written quote together. Timing depends on their schedule, so ask.
What to ask an independent provider
A little prep goes a long way. Ask:
- Are you licensed and insured in this state? Can I see proof?
- Will the quote be written and itemized?
- Will you strip the old layers, and will you check the deck?
- What materials and warranty come with the job? Get the warranty terms on paper.
- Who handles permits and cleanup?
- How long will the work take if the weather turns?
- Can you help document storm damage if I file an insurance claim?
Write down the answers. Compare them across more than one local roofing contractor if you can.
You are in control
Talking to a provider does not lock you into anything. You can say no, ask for time, or get a second opinion. Be careful with anyone who pressures you to sign on the spot or asks for a large payment up front.
Costs for a full replacement vary a lot by roof size, pitch, and materials. A written quote is the only number worth trusting.
